Competitions - Trials
The South Downs Harness Club hold a variety of competitions throughout the
year catering for all levels of driving ability and fitness. For 2008
this will comprise a series of One Day Events. This will culminate in the
Lisa Joyce Inside-Out on 7th September.
By kind permission of Mrs Jane
Hill, the first competition of the year was held at Stedham on 27th April.
This was in the form of a Dressage and Cones. A full write up of the
days activities is in the May newsletter.

One-Day Event - Warnford
We are holding a One Day Event at Peake Farm, Warnford on Sunday 6th
July for both members and non-members.

As with many events, we would like stewards to assist. If you would
like a day out in the picturesque countryside where the Meon Valley cuts

Trec - Greywell - Sunday 24th August
The Earl of Malmsbury has kindly offered
us use of Greywell Hill, his estate in Greywell, North Hampshire. This
beautiful estate will be the ideal venue to hold our second Trec. This will
consist of the presentation, a 5-8Km drive mainly off-road and finally the
skills competition.

Unfortunately, after many happy years at Liphook, we have lost the use of
the Downlands Estate. Graham and Beverley Mellstrom have decided to
move to somewhere smaller. If anybody knows of an estate where we can
hold a Two-Day Event, please contact either Steve/Di
Lucas, Jane Stuart or Chris Laing.
