We are currently NOT able to provide any SECOND doses until further notice. As per Government guidelines at this time, all second doses of the COVID-19 vaccine across the country have been advised to be given 12 weeks after the first dose. This is to allow more people to receive a first dose.
SDHC is administering COVID-19 vaccinations on behalf of the following practices:
Arlington Road Surgery
Lighthouse Medical Practice
Grove Road Surgery
Old School Surgery
Seaford Medical Practice
Seaside Medical Centre
We will contact you to invite you for your vaccination and provide you with a time to attend the Sovereign Centre. Please do not call your surgery.
Your NHS Number
It is not essential to have your NHS number to hand when you are vaccinated. However, it often speeds up the process if you do know it. Please don’t ask your GP for it – you can find it out via this link.
Sovereign Centre Vaccination Site
We have now moved to the Sovereign Centre for all vaccinations from Sunday 24th January 2021.
How will I be invited to get my jab?
You will be contacted to be offered an appointment for your vaccination. Please don’t call us or your practice unless asked to.

After Your Vaccination
It is important to remember the following:
- You are not immediately protected. It takes around 10 days to get some protection.
- Continue measures to prevent spread of the virus. Even when you are protected, you may carry the virus without knowing.
- It is very important to get your second dose. You will be contacted when we can do this. If you haven’t already, please subscribe to our newsletter below so we can keep you informed.
You will be directed to this page after your vaccination, for more information.
