The purpose of the Extended Access Service (EAS) is to provide additional appointment options for patients GP practices in Eastbourne, Hailsham, Seaford, the Havens, and High Weald, outside of normal practice opening times. Our service operates during weekday evenings and on Saturdays. We may occasionally open on Sundays if necessary.

The EAS service provides consultations by GP’s and other Healthcare Professionals, such as Advanced Care Practitioners and Nurse Practitioners. Some of the consultations will be on site at our clinic in Hampden Park, Eastbourne, whilst others will be provided via telephone.

Patients access our appointments by contacting their regular GP practice and requesting an appointment as normal. The GP practice may then book an appointment with our service. Depending on the situation, patients will be offered a telephone appointment, or a face-to-face appointment.
