About our Events
A critical part of what we do is health and wellbeing education. We do this for groups of any size, for schools, businesses and other groups. In partnership with Hillbrow Health and Wellbeing, we host regular events to support education on various health and wellbeing topics.

This session is designed for unpaid carers to come together, share experiences, and support each other. Facilitated by Care for the Carers staff or volunteers, the table also signposts to local resources, services, and events that can help carers. |

The Red Cross invites you to visit their Chatty Table to learn more about their Assisted Discharge Service (ADS) and Help from Home (HFH) programs. This session offers an opportunity to speak directly with staff, ask questions, and gain a clear understanding of how these services assist individuals transitioning safely from hospital to home. |
Every Wednesday in September and October | 12:30pm to 1:30pm | Community table facilitated discussions: You’re Not Alone: Peer Support in Challenging Times. Hosted by Diversity Resource International (DRI) Dr Patrick Nyikavaranda, this facilitated discussion offers a safe and welcoming space for individuals experiencing low mood, anxiety, or feelings of isolation. Participants can share their experiences, receive peer support, and connect with others. The session also provides signposting to local services and resources. |
Wednesday 17th September and Friday 10th October | 12:30pm to 2:30pm | Community table facilitated discussions: Hearing Loss Uncovered: Awareness, Support, and Connection. Hosted by East Sussex Hearing, this session raises awareness about hearing loss and its impact on social isolation. Attendees can learn practical tips, share experiences, and connect with others facing similar challenges. The event offers information about local support services. |
