Dr Miriam Malak

Dr Miriam Malak is an NHS and private General Practitioner. She is Clinical Director at South Downs Health and Care (SDHC). She qualified from Southampton University in 2011 and obtained the diploma of Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) in 2018. Dr Malak also holds a diploma from the British Society of Lifestyle medicine.
She shares her vision and values with those of SDHC and believes in better health and wellbeing and that preventative medicine is key in driving this. Her areas of specialty focus are on Lifestyle medicine and she has a specific interest in sleep within this. She is also involved in the training of GPs and medical students.
Dr Malak lives in Eastbourne with her husband, 2 children and multiple pets! In her free time, she enjoys sports such as swimming/ jogging and badminton (as a true amateur!) but mainly loves all things drama and music related.
