Phil Abbott

Phil has acted as a board advisor to SDHC for five years. As board advisor, Phil provides support and guidance on strategic and operational matters to the CEO and SDHC directors. He commenced the role when he was Business Partner at Seaford Medical Practice and has continued the role with SDHC since retiring from general practice.

Phil was a member of the East Sussex Clinical Commissioning Group’s Governing Body for 10 years, up until his retirement in mid-2021. Prior to working in the healthcare sector, Phil worked at a senior level in finance and commerce in the private sector.
